We are working to turn the lot next door to the composting hub into a community space.

Planned components include: Native habitat including pollinator and shade meadow, central open area, and food production including perennial fruit trees and a large vegetable garden.

We are currently bringing leaves to the site to smother the grass and build top soil. Next steps include spring plantings and construction of benches and picnic tables.

Like the compost hub this project is community focused. We would like to work with our community to make this a nice place for everyone and a productive garden space for those who'd like to participate.
